I'm a PhD candidate (ABD) at the Department of Political Science at Northwestern University, where I study Comparative Politics and Political Methodology. I am also a masters student in the MS program at the Department of Statistics.
My main academic interests are in political behavior, quantitative methods and computational social science. I primarily study the normalization of far-right politics and the psychology of online political behavior.
Before coming to Northwestern, I received my MSc in Social Research Methods from the Department of Methodology at the London School of Economics and a BA in Political Science from the Geschwister-Scholl-Institut at Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. I have previously worked in financial crime prosecution and forensic consulting.
Outside of my professional life I am passionate about progressive political causes and a member of the German Social Democrats (SPD) and the British Labour Party. I also like Yoga, gaming and travel (surprise).
Feel free to reach out to me via Email or Twitter. I'm always happy to give advice or help out if I can!
